Yolotzin

"Yolotzin" is a the name of our collection whose name is inspired by the nahuatl word meaning "of the heart". Each piece of jewelry is heart-shaped, made with love by the various artisan families from several regions of Oaxaca: San Bartolo de Coyotepec (Black Pottery Pendants), Atzompa (Red Clay Pottery), San Martin Tilcajete & Ocotlan (hand-painted torchwood).

Each purchase helps over 50 families from these 5 regions by fairly remunerating their work and breathing new life into the cultural heritage that inspire their creations.

Yolotzin es el nombre de la colleccion cuyo nombre viende del vocablo nahuatl "del corazón". Cada pieza tiene forma de corazón, hecha con amor por las manos de los varios artsesanos de múltiples regiones de Oaxaca: San Bartolo de Coyotepec (Barro Negro), Atzompa (Barro Rojo), San Martin Tilcajete & Ocotlan (alebrije y dijes de copal).
